The legend of Château de Lignières was born in 1875. For many years, a pack of wolves roamed the woods of the château, protecting its vines and cellars. Even today, Chateau de Lignieres remains exceptional: few cognacs are born, distilled, and aged in a single location. Moreover, Château de Lignières uniquely brings together winemakers, distillers, cellar masters, and coopers on one estate to craft this authentic and unique product.
Chateau de Lignieres is one of the rare cognacs entitled to the "Château" designation, while most cognacs are made from eaux-de-vie sourced from various estates.
Chateau de Lignieres is the only cognac entirely produced in a single location: from harvesting to the crafting of oak barrels, from distillation to bottling, all done at the château.
