This Limoges porcelain container, crafted by the prestigious Haviland house, is shaped like a drum and was part of a limited series launched by the Camus house in the 1970s. This rare and authentic item is a testament to French craftsmanship and the cultural heritage associated with cognac.
The drum, finely decorated and numbered on the back, is sold empty and is intended for collectors of exceptional objects. Under the base of this drum, one can read a poignant inscription:

"Drums were present in times of glory as well as in times of shame, always by the soldier’s side, who, having lost sight of his flag in the obscure battle, could still hear their distant rolls. Thus, drums triumphantly led the imperial armies to victory."

This decorative and historical item is a unique piece to enrich any collection and pay tribute to French history and traditions.
