The Courvoisier Napoleon cognac is a "must" of the 1970's-1980's production. Many consider it as well over the other brands "Napoleon" bottles, and even better than many XOs... Courvoisier still had the "magical spark"!!
It was produced only in limited quantity - this bottle is number L6067
During that period, over the "Napoleon" grade, Courvoisier had only the "Extra Vieille", and the Erté serie.
Tasting the Napoleon is a great moment, it has all an excellent cognac needs, the flavours are intense and multiple, long lasting and strong. The alcohol is really not "agressive" as in the younger blends.
the filling level is still very good for such a bottle, capped cork, tin sealing, see pictures for condition.
