François Voyer Napoleon Cognac is a blend of 100% Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, aged between 14 and 20 years. For its older blends, Voyer Cognac uses the Ugni Blanc grape, known for its high acidity, which imparts exceptional minerality and complex flavor to the eaux-de-vie. Aging is done in French oak barrels from Limousin or the forests of Bercée, Gâvre, or Reno Valdieu, in both humid and dry cellars to optimize the character of each barrel.
Since the 1870s, the Chauchet Voyer family has been distilling and aging eaux-de-vie in oak barrels, representing over five generations of expertise. Specializing in the Grande Champagne cru, they work with many local winegrowers, as their own estate covers only 28 hectares. They practice sustainable agriculture to protect biodiversity and public health and were among the first 20 estates to receive the High Environmental Value (HVE) certification.
François Voyer Cognac is currently managed by master blender Pierre Vaudon, who continues the work of previous generations and maintains the identity of Voyer Cognac. Today, this renowned brand is available in over 30 countries worldwide.
