This limited edition of Hennessy VS, created in collaboration with New York-based American artist and tattoo artist Scott Campbell, embodies both the timelessness of the icon and a forward-looking vision. The blend of this cognac is based on 40 eaux-de-vie from various Cognac regions, matured for a minimum of two years, some even up to five years. The production of Hennessy's emblematic eaux-de-vie begins with the selection of the best Ugni Blanc grapes, which are then fermented and distilled twice in traditional copper stills, known as alambics charentais. After distillation, a careful selection of the best eaux-de-vie is made during tastings conducted by a select group of experts. Hennessy's eighth-generation master blender, Renaud Fillioux from Gironde, finalises the blend to create the final expression. This VS cognac is aged in French Limousin oak barrels, adding a robust nutty note that complements the light, fruity characteristics of the grape. This rare edition of an authentic classic offers a memorable experience in every respect.
Hennessy has always been keen to innovate, and on 27 June it unveiled a new dimension with the Hennessy VS Limited Edition in collaboration with Scott Campbell. The New York-based American artist and tattoo artist brings a contemporary twist to the cognac heritage, transforming this classic into a modern work of art. This bottle embodies all the attributes of the classic VS, while presenting a new and appealing aesthetic.
Playing with shades of grey and silver, fine lines and bold elements, this cognac is a real eye-catcher. Like a work of art that could even be tattooed, the attention to detail is awe-inspiring. By rethinking the presentation of the classic VS to breathe new life into it, this bottle is a showcase that won't be easily forgotten. A perfect option for a celebration where you want your offer to be the starting point for the event.
To fully appreciate its aromas, enjoy it on its own in a tulip-shaped glass. You can also enjoy it on the rocks. Marc Boissonet, ambassador for Maison Hennessy, recommends a simple approach by adding bubbles: "A quality Bordeaux glass, a solid ice cube and a touch of sparkling water... that's one way to enjoy it."
