Cognac H by Hine VSOP, an exceptional sensory experience for cognac lovers. This refined spirit embodies the essence of Grande and Petite Champagne, the two prestigious crus of cognac. The history of Hine dates back to the 18th century, when Thomas Hine of Dorset fell in love with Françoise-Elisabeth, the daughter of the estate's owner. Thus began a saga that transformed the company into Thomas Hine & Co in 1817.
This VSOP Cognac is a delicate blend of over 15 carefully selected eaux-de-vie from the two Champagne regions, aged for at least four years. The result is a young, floral beverage, capturing notes of jasmine, acacia, iris, lily of the valley, apricot and vanilla. To the eye, it presents a brilliant amber color, while the nose subtly reveals aromas of iris, fresh apricot, acacia and white pepper.
On the palate, H by Hine Cognac offers a fruity experience with a touch of vanilla. Dynamic floral notes add a special elegance to the finish. The aging process in Hine's cellars, located on the banks of the Charente River, gives the cognac a mellow, refined texture, the result of a process slowed by the ambient humidity.
Ugni Blanc grapes, grown on the 115-hectare Fine Champagne estate in Bonneuil, absorb nutrients from the limestone soil, creating ideal conditions even during the hottest summers. The reward for this meticulous attention is reflected in the distinctions won, including the Silver Medal at the 2018 International Wine and Spirits Convention and the Gold Medal at the 2007 International Spirits Challenge.
