The Pradier-Gaillard estate, located in Saint-Médard, spans the Petite and Grande Champagne crus. This exceptional cognac originates from a vineyard in Grande Champagne, celebrated for its unique aromatic complexity.
Carole Pradier-Gaillard, the current owner of the 12-hectare estate, has emotionally parted with a 65-year-old batch of cognac, a true family treasure inherited from her grandfather, Paul Gaillard. A tireless and meticulous man, Paul shaped the estate's history from the 1920s, distilling the wine on-site until the 1960s. His legacy was passed down to his son Raymond, and later to his granddaughter Carole, who now manages the estate.
This Grande Champagne Cognac L.57, bottled on October 25, 2022, at 42.3% ABV, embodies a legacy of family heritage and careful stewardship. Drawn from a single cask, it is a rare gem, with only 319 bottles available.
