Aromas
At first touch, gourmand scents of banana and caramelized pear reveal themselves, subtly revealing the sweetness of vanilla, coconut and spices.
Taste experience
The palate is round and generous, with hints of ginger and candied fruit. These are followed by distinctive accents of toasted oak, which come from making cognac in bourbon barrels.
History
In 1783, Martell made history by becoming the first House to export cognac to the United States. Today, the brand repeats this history with Martell Blue Swift, the very first VSOP cognac-based spirit aged in bourbon casks.
Martell know-how
Thanks to Martell's emblematic distillation process, the eaux-de-vie absorb the aromatic richness of the bourbon casks. The result is Martell's signature style, distinguished by delicate notes of candied fruit and plum, complemented by the subtle sweetness of vanilla and toasty oak from the bourbon casks. This spirit is particularly smooth, with a rounded taste and a unique character.
