Martell Cordon Argent was created in the 1920s with the goal of becoming their most prestigious cognac in the range.
It wasn't until 1933 that the name Cordon Argent was actually used. The Martell Cordon Argent trademark application was filed in 1951.

The US import bottle must be after 1955, the date Browne Vintners took over Park & Tilford.
