The closure is secured by a clip, but the tin at the top of the neck is not pre-pierced, which is reminiscent of the 1940s. The box itself is from the 1950s
Martell Cordon Argent was created in the 1920s with the goal of becoming their most prestigious cognac in the range.
It wasn't until 1933 that the name Cordon Argent was actually used. The Martell Cordon Argent trademark application was filed in 1951.
Exceptional preservation condition. The set is complete with tissue paper, the cork, and the box. A rare feature on this bottle is the golden wax seal and a chain around the neck.
