Martell Brand Company of the Year 1991
This Martell Cognac Extra was specially crafted by the Cellar Master to mark Martell's designation as "Brand Company of the Year 1991." It is made exclusively from eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne and Borderies regions.
The majority of the eaux-de-vie in the blend date from before the war, specifically: 1925, 1926, 1928, 1930, 1933, 1936, 1937, and 1938. The remaining eaux-de-vie are from 1943, 1944, 1945, 1947, and 1948.
The Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie come from Messrs. Richard, Gaudry, and Perrin, while the Borderies eaux-de-vie are from Mr. Poupelain.
This EXTRA is a limited edition of only 650 bottles.
