François Peyrot Lot 59 Cognac is a veritable nugget in the world of spirits.
Produced by François Peyrot, this exceptional Cognac is a G.C. (Grande Champagne) that has been patiently aged for over 60 years, before finally being bottled at a delicate 44.2%. Its amber color with brown nuances reveals heavy, regular tears, foreshadowing an unforgettable sensory experience.
From the very first olfactory contact, François Peyrot Lot 59 Cognac seduces with toasty, spicy and chocolate notes. Aromas of white pepper and bitter chocolate blend harmoniously with the woody nuances of pine. With a little aeration, fresh notes of mint and pine resin reveal themselves, alongside hints of melon and palm oil/colza.
On the palate, the soft, oily texture offers a symphony of flavors, with notes of prunes, prune cake, raisins, dates, almonds and marzipan. The length on the palate is remarkable, and the whole is generous and rich in flavor.
The final notes reveal hints of tobacco, scents of Bordeaux wine, chocolate aromas in the background, peppermint, Scots pine, caramelized walnuts, nougat and chocolate candy. Sweet spices, such as cardamom and cinnamon, add an elegant final touch, giving way to aromas of bourbon vanilla and young bananas.
Cognac François Peyrot Lot 59 embodies the excellence of Grande Champagne, produced from carefully selected grapes in an exceptional terroir. This rare bottle offers an unparalleled taste experience, a harmony of flavors and aromas that will delight the most demanding palates.
