This Pierre de Segonzac Cognac Extra is a very old cognac, with its mahogany hue, offers a broad and generous aromatic palette.
On the palate, a velvety combination of vanilla and spice unfolds with remarkable finesse, surrounded by stewed fruits and plum aromas, all enhanced by a rich "rancio" character. The finish is exceptionally long, lasting several minutes, with notes of aged leather.
The cognacs in this blend average 50 years of age, having matured patiently in oak barrels while the alcohol slowly evaporated. The Charentais "rancio" is at its peak, delivering an aromatic explosion on the first nose and a subtle, delicate bouquet. This is characteristic of an exceptional Extra Grande Champagne cognac that has reached full maturity, offering an unparalleled length on the palate.
