Remy Martin Cognac Centaure XO is an iconic Fine Champagne cognac from the 1980s, crafted primarily from eaux-de-vie sourced from the Grande and Petite Champagne crus. This cognac, which preceded the current XO Excellence, stands out for its superior quality and refinement.
Among its special editions, a rare 35 cl bottle was specially bottled for the Monaco Duty Free Symposium in October 1981. This limited edition, designed for the duty-free market, reflects the exclusivity and prestige of Rémy Martin at the time.
Centaure XO bottles from the 1980s featured an elegant design showcasing the centaur, the emblematic symbol of the house. They were generally available in 68 cl or 70 cl formats, with an alcohol content of 40%.
In 2011, the Centaure brand was relaunched for Asian markets and the duty-free sector, highlighting the continued popularity of this exceptional cognac.
